Hello, I am wondering if anybody has seen, adopted or has any information on MY dog Shanuk. She is a female pure pred siberian husky that i have had since she was 6 months old (she is now over 3) until she got out one day and ended up at the local money hungry pit they call a humane society. When i tried getting her back they refused so i am trying to find out where she is so i can get her back. She is mircochipped and was not fixed but probably is now. She has 1 1/2 blue eyes, her right eye is half blue half brown. I have an incredible amount of time AND money invested in that dog. Was close to $1k in vet bills alone when she came down with parvo. Previous owners said she was utd on shots and i took their word on it. NEVER DO THAT BTW. Almost caused me to end up with a dead dog and did cost an arm and a leg to save her. Any information about her where abouts is greatly appreciated. If she is still at the humane society (or somebody adopted her already) i am willing to pay for her adoption fee and EXTRA for their time spent if somebody would adopt her for me. She was one of two of my emotional support dogs and is greatly missed. Its a shame that hell hole can get away with taking somebodies dog EVEN MICROCHIPPED but i dont have the $1500 down payment for a lawyer there for cant do anything more than what i am. If anybody knows a lawyer that might be willing to go probono and have the humane society pay for their fees in the lawsuit or willing to take payments on the deposit that would be amazing!! I will post her pictures below. If you have any more questions about her please do not hesitate. I want my dog back home where she belongs!!

I am also looking for another dog to help fill the void. Its not possible to replace her but i have always had 2 dogs and it feels empty with out her. If she is found after i find one i would keep all 3, just more love. I currently have a 9 yr old pit that i have had since he was 1 yr old. He is chipped and neutered utd on shots. I have a life time of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and i do not get a breed i have never had before with out doing the research on them. I would love to get another husky but will be really picky. if you have or ever had a husky you know just how much work they require. I do not care whether its pure bred or mixed, small or large, registered or not, spayed/neutered or not, young or old.

My only requirements are that it **MUST** (**required**) get along with other dogs and be healthy.

I do prefer (**not required**) Males over females, large breeds over small, papers mean absolutely nothing to me so no preference there, spayed over neutered, and 6 months - 1 yr old age range. I do prefer bully breed over any others. My dream dog is a Presa Canario (Canary Mastiff). Other breeds that i like are great danes, st bernards, cane corso, dogue de bordeaux aka french mastiff, rotts, german shepards, dobermann pinchers, chows, border collie, english mastiff, australian shepards, boxers, belgian malinois and the list goes on and on lol

I do not want one that requires special grooming like a poodle, brushing is fine. I dont want one with medical problems, disabilities such as deaf, blind or missing a leg is fine. I do not and will not accept if you are a breeder and/or are charging a ridiculous amount. I will also NOT pay a rehoming fee if it does not come with vet records. Do not waste my time if you are wanting more than $150. I am not looking to support you and the dog shouldnt be used for such either.

I have never paid a ''rehoming fee'' to get a dog from an individual. USUALLY i adopt not shop but given my current dealings with the local humane society they can just go kick rocks and i dont have a vehicle so cant go to lawrence. That being the case i would pay a reasonable ''rehoming'' fee. What im willing to pay would depend on breed, vet records and if spayed or neutered. If you or somebody you know is wanting/needing to find a good home then please send me pictures and information on the dog. If you are unsure whether or not it might be one id like just simply send pics anyways. The worst i can do is say no. Big/small cute/ugly just send me the info! lol

P.S. Shanuk is the husky in the pictures and the brindle dog is my pit Scooby.
