must be highly sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities; exercise flexibility, manage crisis situations effectively with Alpha Homes staff, demonstrates the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively. 

Job Duties: Assume a supportive friendship role in relation to participants daily skills and community life, assist participants in all areas of personal care, provide transportation to program participants as may be required to achieve goal of community integration (staff may be required to drive company vehicles), assist participants to maintain residential environments in an orderly and clean manner in accordance with licensing requirements at all times, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and menu planning as may be required, assist in carrying out participant recreational programs (must be actively involved).
