Science Rag seeks out talented writers who are able to connect contemporary science news stories with well-formed prosaic comedy concepts. Rates start at $20 per article, with bonuses for consecutive successful submissions.

Topics Science Rag is seeking coverage for include biology, chemistry, earth science, math, physics, space, and technology. The demand for each topic depends solely on which has the fewest currently published stories. See table athttps://sciencerag.com/submissions for reference.

Stories not related to contemporary news are acceptable, but the bulk of Science Rag stories will have a foundation in current events in the realm of scientific news, research, and experimentation. Science Rag is meant to be a child-friendly and safe for work publication, so we will reject stories with explicit references to violence and ⓢⓔⓧ in either the headline or body.

Email submissions@sciencerag.com with submissions and submission-related questions. For the subject, put Submission: My Title Here. The body should consist of the story content and a link to the relevant and credible science story, if applicable. The relevant story should be from within the last month, but the more recent, the better. Stories on the site range from a few sentences to several paragraphs but are generally not particularly long, and your submission is expected to fit that profile.
